The location of lifting is the first diagnostic clue
Dual Form extensions usually lift because adhesion, fit, architecture, curing or service conditions were not controlled as one system. Do not solve every separation by adding more primer. First record where the opening begins, when it appears and what the enhancement looks like around it.

Remove compromised product according to the system instructions. Do not seal an open pocket, because trapped moisture and debris cannot be assessed through an opaque enhancement.
Prepare the nail plate without damaging it
Adhesion requires a clean, appropriately prepared surface. Remove nonliving tissue from the nail plate, refine surface shine only as the product protocol requires, control dust and avoid touching the prepared plate. Oils, lotion, cleanser residue and skin contact can interrupt adhesion.
More abrasion is not automatically better. Aggressive filing can thin the natural nail without correcting contamination or product placement.
