How to Recreate the Electric Silk Look
- Create the nail structure. Complete nail preparation and apply your preferred base or NAILSPIRACY Builder Gel. Cure and refine the structure as required.
- Create the black underlayer. Apply a thin, even layer of black gel color and cure completely. The dark foundation increases the depth and intensity of the final multichrome effect.
- Apply SILK 1. Apply SILK 1 Cat Eye Gel. Before curing, use a nail magnet to move the magnetic particles and create the desired soft silk-like reflection. Cure immediately once the effect is positioned.
- Prepare the chrome surface. Apply a very thin, even layer of SECRET Chrome Rub-In Gel. Cure according to the product instructions. Do not wipe the cured surface.
- Rub in HARMONY 6. Apply HARMONY 6 Multichrome Nail Powder over the cured SECRET layer. Buff the powder evenly into the surface until the Electric Silk color shift develops, then carefully remove excess pigment.
- Seal the design. Finish with GLAZE No-Wipe Gloss Top Coat. Cover the entire surface, seal the free edge, and cure completely.

The visual depth of Electric Silk comes from combining magnetic reflection with a semi-sheer multichrome finish. SILK 1 creates soft luminous movement underneath, while HARMONY 6 introduces shifting color above it.
HARMONY 6 does not behave like a completely opaque mirror chrome. The base underneath remains part of the finished design, allowing the SILK magnetic effect to stay visible through the multichrome layer.
