What Is the Blue Sand Design?
Blue Sand is a layered magnetic chrome nail design originally created by Siranush Ambartsumian. The look combines a deep black foundation with ICY 1 Cat Eye Gel and LUNA 3 Dimensional Chrome Powder.
Instead of covering the magnetic effect with an opaque metallic finish, LUNA 3 creates a translucent reflective veil. This allows the ICY movement underneath to remain visible and produces the signature Blue Sand depth.

How to Recreate the Original Blue Sand Look

- Rub in LUNA 3. Apply LUNA 3 Dimensional Chrome Powder over the cured SECRET layer. Buff the powder into the surface until the Blue Sand reflection appears, then carefully remove excess pigment.
- Seal the design. Finish with GLAZE No-Wipe Gloss Top Coat. Cover the entire surface, seal the free edge, and cure completely.
